Warehouse master represent physical location where you keep your inventory or your wares. Goods come in and out of the warehouse and you can track your inventory by their location (warehouse)

Some business has only one warehouse or their sales office is also a warehouse , and others may have more than one, especially retail businesses where their outlets can also be represented by warehouse codes.

For retail purposes, each warehouse is set to represent each outlets (See Fig 3 below)

Difference between Premium plan comes with one default warehouse. Professional Plan users can create multiple warehouse that comes with stock transfer module

At [Stock Setup], click [Stock Warehouse], Fig 1 will appear

Warehouse (also known as outlet in retail business), represent physical location where you keep your inventory or your wares.
Goods come in and out of the warehouse and you can track your inventory by their location (warehouse)

The outlets will be be represented by warehouse codes.

Business that have (or need to have) 2 warehouse locations to control and report for each warehouse stock movements.
Note : Premium Plan only has one default warehouse [1]

Note that the word [Warehouse] in this context is used including outlets or any sales office location that is an extension of the existing operations.
Business with multiple retail outlets can create new warehouse master,representing each warehouse as outlet.
It can also be used for consignment warehouse purposes to transfer from your location to customers’ location.

Goods(stocks) can be transferred from one warehouse to another if necessary.

At Stock Transfer, transfer goods from one location to another by selecting the stock at different warehouse.

If you have only one location (outlet or showroom) , use the system default warehouse code [1] .

At Fig 1,

Default warehouse 1

[1] Highlight on the default warehouse 1

[2] Click [Edit]

Fig 2 will appear

At Fig 2,

[3] You can change the warehouse name to your company name.

[4] Default setting, no action require

[5] Default warehouse 1 address is disabled.
To update or change your company address, go to company profile...click here
Default warehouse [1] address is entered in Company profile.

[6] Click [Save]

To create a new warehouse (outlet) , see Fig 3 below.

If you have more than one warehouse or retail outlets, goods(stocks) can be transferred from one warehouse to another if necessary.

Learning Objective : Update new warehouse - [JEM] (outlets) to your inventory system

At POS Invoice screen, your multiple outlets will be shown

At Stock Master to see the effect of clicking Yes after creating a new warehouse [JEM] , all stocks in warehouse 1 will be replicated into warehouse TM.

Subscribe to a new warehouse/department in the chart of accounts

: How to create department (profit centres)

At Fig 3,

[1] Click [Edit]

Fig 4 will appear

At Fig 4

[2] Enter all relevant information

[3] Select the relevant discount code that link to the relevant department

[4] Once complete, click [Save]

[5] New warehouse is now in the list.

Fig 5 will appear below.

Notes :

[a] Dept/Subsidiary link to accounts

[b] Grp Discount sales / purchase link to chart of accounts

[c] Float cash in different denomination for change in POS

[d] Employee Contact List

FAQ: Can I change my warehouse code [JEM] to [CS] representing City Square,
after entries had been made into it?

Answer: At Fig 4

Yes, [ 4 ] highlight on the warehouse code, click [Edit] button, change the code,
Click [Save] All earlier posting will be changed to the new code.

At Fig 5,

Click No or Yes to let system auto create all stocks into this new warehouse

Fig 6 will appear, click [OK]
